Western region tour Dong Thap – Can Tho 2 Days 1 Night
DAY 1: SAIGON – CAO LANH – SA DEC – CAN THO (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Morning: Nam A Chau car and tour guide pick up tourists at the meeting point, get on the car and depart for My Tho. The group has breakfast at Trung Luong (My Tho).
After that, the group continued to depart for Tram Chim Tam Nong National Park, Tam Nong district, Dong Thap province. Here, visitors sit on a sampan or a boat – a typical boat of the West and begin the journey to visit:
- The wild nature of Tram Chim National Park, where there is a unique and diverse ecosystem and fauna such as: Storks, Herons, Egrets, Cuckoos, Le Le, Giang Sen, Cu Xanh, Otters, Box Turtles,…
- Diverse aquatic resources with many species of fish such as: Catfish, White Catfish, Snakehead Fish, Catfish, Catfish, Goby Fish, Frogfish… come to feed and nest, located in the 1,600ha natural area of Dong Thap Muoi, or go up to the observation tower to see the whole view of the Melaleuca forest…
The group had lunch with dishes typical of the Dong Thap river region: Grilled catfish with ginger fish sauce, Sour snakehead fish soup, Stir-fried water mimosa with shrimp … ( seasonal dishes )
Afternoon: The group goes to Sa Dac to visit:
- Kien An Cung ancient pagoda, also known as Ong Quach pagoda, was built by a group of Chinese people from Fujian province who settled in Sa Dec (1924 – 1927) with unique architecture and is a national historical and cultural relic.
- Huynh Thuy Le ancient house, the ancient house of a wealthy landlord in the old Sa Dec area, listen to the romantic love story of the house owner through the work “The Lover” written by French female writer Marguerite Duras. This romantic novel was adapted into a famous work of the same name by director Jean-Jacques Annaud.
- Sa Dec ornamental flower village, the group enjoyed and took photos with hundreds of colorful flowers in the Southern village with a tradition of ornamental flowers for over 100 years.
The group returned to Can Tho, checked in to the hotel and rested.
17:30: The car takes the group for a tour around Can Tho: Tay Do Night Market, Cai Khe Commercial Center, Ninh Kieu Wharf … Then, you go to the restaurant for dinner.
Evening: You are free to visit relatives or go to Ninh Kieu wharf, enjoy a cup of coffee by the Hau River, or take a walk on the Ninh Kieu pedestrian bridge.
DAY 2: CAN THO – SAIGON (Breakfast, lunch)
5:00 am: Tourists arrive at Ninh Kieu wharf , motorboat takes tourists to visit Cai Rang floating market, visit and learn about the trading scene on the river of people in the river region….
7:00: The group returns to the hotel for breakfast. After checking out, the car takes visitors to visit:
- Truc Lam Phuong Nam Zen Monastery – one of the largest Zen monasteries in the Southwest region, all made from ironwood imported from South Africa.
- My Khanh Fruit Garden – visit Plum, Mango, Rambutan, Jackfruit, Durian gardens; visit the ancient Southern house which is nearly 100 years old and experience recreational activities such as: Canoeing, crocodile fishing, horse-drawn carriage ride around the village… or enjoy Western specialties such as: Roasted Mouse, Grilled Bamboo Tube Fish, Grilled Snakehead Fish (at your own expense)…
The group had lunch.
Afternoon: The car takes the group back to Saigon, stops at Cai Lay to buy Western specialties as gifts: Nem Lai Vung, Four Seasons Fruits… Returning to Saigon, the car returns the group at the original pick-up point, ending the Western tour.

REGULATIONS ON CHILDREN:
- Children under 6 years old are free, families take care of themselves. Note that each family is only allowed to bring 1 child, from the 2nd child onwards, a surcharge of 70% of the adult ticket price will be applied.
- From 6 to under 11 years old, family buys 70% of adult ticket price for child.
- From 11 years old and up, family buys 01 adult ticket.
TOUR BOOKING & CANCELLATION CONDITIONS:
- Customers book tours 10 working days in advance. Please call for support, consultation & booking tours/rooms/cheap air tickets from 8am – 6pm at Hotline 0978 57 58 59 – 0768351541 for better service.
- The booking procedure is as follows: customer name, phone number, order number, departure date.
- In case of changing the booked schedule, the customer must notify 07 days in advance and no more than 01 change will be processed.
- In case of tour cancellation due to objective incidents such as natural disasters, epidemics, etc., the travel company will not be responsible for compensating any additional costs other than refunding the costs of unused services of that tour.
- Cancel tour 07 days before departure date or after registration: no fee.
- If the customer has booked a tour but does not show up, the voucher will be canceled and no longer valid.
- In case of force majeure: natural disasters, storms and floods, the organizer reserves the right to change the schedule or cancel the trip to ensure the convenience and safety of visitors and will not be responsible for compensating for any damages that may arise.
- Some program order and details may be arranged to suit objective situations (weather, traffic, etc.) but still ensure full coverage.
