The Western Region Summer Tien Giang – Ben Tre – Can Tho 2 Days 1 Night

DAY 1: SAIGON – MY THO – BEN TRE – CAN THO ( Breakfast, lunch, dinner )
Morning , 7:15 depart from Saigon to My Tho (Tien Giang). The group stops for breakfast in Binh Chanh, rests, then goes to My Tho to visit Vinh Trang Pagoda – One of the most famous ancient pagodas in the West , then the car takes the group to My Tho wharf. You board a boat to cruise the Tien River and listen to the history of the formation of the four islands of Long, Lan, Quy, and Phung. The boat takes you to Thoi Son Island, one of the largest islands on the Tien River. You can visit:
- Orchard scenery of all four seasons, grapefruit, guava, longan, mangosteen, rambutan…,
- Honey bee farm , see honey bee hives and how to collect honey .
- You will stop to enjoy free cups of hot, fragrant honey tea and hear about honey products such as royal jelly, pollen , etc. Then, you will go to the rest stop to enjoy free seasonal fruits and listen to the performance of Southern folk music .
- You go to the ferry dock and take a rowing boat along the canal under the cool shade of coconut trees to the river mouth. Then board a large boat to Ben Tre to visit the most famous coconut candy factory in Ben Tre, see the process of making coconut candy and products made from coconut. The group continues to the garden restaurant for lunch, rest in hammocks, visit the crocodile lake, go through the monkey bridge, coconut bridge … Then board the boat back to My Tho wharf. On the way, listen to an introduction to Con Phung – learn about the relic of Mr. Dao Dua – Nguyen Thanh Nam and his architectural works on the island…
In the afternoon , at 3:00 p.m. the boat will take you back to My Tho wharf, then you will get on the bus to continue your journey to Can Tho . On the way, you will see the two most famous bridges in the West, My Thuan Bridge and Can Tho Bridge. At about 6:00 p.m. the group will arrive in Can Tho and you will check in to your hotel.
In the evening, the car will take you to Ninh Kieu wharf to board the most beautiful Ninh Kieu cruise in Can Tho – Enjoy dinner with Western specialties – Cruise on Can Tho river to enjoy folk songs, Southern amateur music, and variety shows. The ship docks.
You are free to stroll around Ninh Kieu walking street, night market, check in Ninh Kieu love bridge or return to rest freely.
DAY 2: CAI RANG FLOATING MARKET – CON SON – SAIGON (Breakfast, lunch)
6:30: Have breakfast, check out, then the car will take you to the pier to visit:
- Cai Rang Floating Market – See the bustling trading scene on the river – a typical feature of the market in the Mekong Delta . You can buy fruits directly on the boats on the floating market.
- Hu Tieu and other dried specialties are produced at the factory , then visit Truc Lam Zen Monastery Can Tho.
- Then the car takes the group to the pier on the northern bank of Hau River to board a boat to Con Son, a green island located in the middle of Hau River with four-season fruit gardens – a land emerging in the middle of the peaceful Hau River surrounded by mangrove forests on all sides by rivers. Here, you can check in the garden scenery covered with green fruit trees along the way, take pictures of the fruit garden and pick and eat it in the garden … then board the boat back to the mainland to visit the Khmer Munir Ansay pagoda with unique architecture in Can Tho.
- The group continues to the restaurant for lunch with Western specialties . After lunch, you will get on the bus to visit and take photos of the Purple House, a famous check-in point ( entrance fee is not included ). Then get on the bus back to Saigon.
18:00: Arrive in Saigon, see you again on the next tour.

* 2-day tour price for children in the West:
- Children under 4 years old are free and their families take care of them, but 2 adults are only allowed to bring 1 child. If there are more, they must buy 1/2 ticket.
- Children from 5 to 11 years old buy 75% of adult ticket with meals and separate seat, sleeping in the same room with accompanying relatives. From 11 years old and up, charged as adult ticket.
