DAY 1: HO CHI MINH CITY – MY THO – BEN TRE – CAN THO (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Morning : You gather at the office of Nam A Chau Tourism Company
7:15 am depart from Saigon to Tien Giang. Have breakfast at Binh Chanh Rest Stop, then continue the journey to My Tho to visit:
- Vinh Trang Pagoda – The ancient pagoda with the most unique architecture in the West.
- Then go to My Tho wharf, you will board a cruise on Tien River to explore the unique features of the river delta.
- Stop at Thoi Son Islet to enjoy free hot, fragrant honey tea, visit traditional craft villages: Honey bee farms and bee products such as royal jelly, pollen…
- You can come to the garden house to rest, enjoy seasonal fruits, drink tea and listen to special Southern folk music performances.
- Then take the boat to Ben Tre – On the way, listen to the introduction about Con Phung – learn about the relic of Mr. Dao Dua – Nguyen Thanh Nam and his architectural works on the islet. Arriving at Que Dua Ben Tre, you will visit the coconut candy factory , rice paper factory, green rice factory, wine factory… Here, you will see the production model and directly enjoy the products.
- You will experience a horse-drawn carriage ride on a familiar village road, recalling old memories… Then experience a rowing boat ride on the most beautiful canal in Tan Phu, Ben Tre, under the beautiful shade of water coconut trees , admiring the charming river scenery of the western region, with fruit gardens full of fruit such as durian, rambutan, mangosteen…
- Then continue to the ecological garden restaurant on the riverside, you will have lunch with western specialties , relax… visit the crocodile pond, cross the monkey bridge, and coconut bridge.
Afternoon : You return to the ship to enjoy the free specialty of Ben Tre coconut , then return to My Tho wharf, then you board the bus to Chau Doc . On the way, you can admire My Thuan bridge , the most famous bridge in the West. The journey takes you along the West through famous landmarks… Arrive in Chau Doc city , check in hotel, have dinner at the restaurant.
DAY 2: CHAU DOC – SAM MOUNTAIN – TRA SU – CAN THO (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Morning : You have breakfast at the hotel, then the car and tour guide take you to visit:
- Go to Sam mountain to visit Ba Chua Xu temple , Thoai Ngoc Hau tomb , Tay An Co Tu pagoda … Then continue to Tra Su cajuput forest to visit the beautiful flooded cajuput forest ecosystem.
- Check in at Tra Su wharf with many beautiful miniatures, take photos of Kieu bridge across the river into Tra Tra Su forest.
- Van Buoc Tre Bridge crosses the cajuput forest with a beautiful scene. The water surface is covered with a light blue color of green duckweed like giant carpets covering the cajuput forest, enjoying the refreshing feeling when walking in the middle of beautiful wild nature. Here you can see with your own eyes the bold birds foraging on the green duckweed, flocks of storks, twittering on the green cajuput canopy, and under the light blue duckweed under the water surface.
- The boat takes you around the green cajuput forest in the middle of a large football field, where you can check in and take pictures.
- The boat continues to take you to the unique road between the cajuput forest to the next stop, walking on the dirt road between the cajuput forest to hunt for beautiful photos, taking photos of the bridge across the canal. The boat takes you back to the ferry terminal to end the tour of Tra Su cajuput forest. You have lunch at the restaurant under the cool canopy of the cajuput forest.
Afternoon: The car takes you to Can Tho, stops to visit Long Xuyen crocodile farm to rest, then arrives at Can Tho city, the most bustling Tay Do land in the western part of the Mekong Delta , you check in.
Evening: You will have dinner on the Ninh Kieu cruise restaurant, enjoy Western specialties and listen to smooth folk music melodies on the poetic Hau River … The ship docks, you are free to explore Tay Do street at night, Ninh Kieu night market, culinary street, check in Ninh Kieu love bridge…
DAY 3: CAN THO – SOC TRANG – CA MAU CAPE (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)
In the morning, at 5:30 am, you will go to Cai Rang floating market, the only crowded and most famous floating market in the West that is still preserved – Specializing in buying and selling goods on the river, especially vegetables, tubers, fruits and four-season fruits, visit the noodle making facility and dried specialties of the West.
You return to the hotel for breakfast and check out. Then you get on the bus to Ca Mau. The group arrives in Soc Trang to visit Som Rong Pagoda – an ancient pagoda over 300 years old with the most beautiful architecture today. You stop for lunch at a restaurant in Ca Mau. Then continue the journey to explore Ca Mau cape.
In the afternoon , you will explore:
- Mui Ca Mau Biosphere Reserve – Admire the rich mangrove ecosystem where there are alluvial plains of cajuput forests and mangrove forests that stand tall day and night against the wind, rain and waves, Ca Mau Cape – the sacred land at the southern end of the country. You will be able to see the scenery and take souvenir photos at the National coordinate marker – GPS 0001, the iconic panel of Ca Mau Cape – the image of a boat breaking the waves to the sea , the Ho Chi Minh road milestone at the end of Ca Mau, the flagpole of Ca Mau Cape, visit the Dat Mui Museum, the statue of Mother Au Co …
- Mangrove ecosystem at Mui Ca Mau National Park – World Biosphere Reserve with rich flora and fauna.
The car takes you back to Ca Mau city for dinner, check in and rest. Free evening to explore Ca Mau cuisine.
DAY 4: CA MAU – BAC LIEU – SAIGON (Breakfast, lunch)
In the morning, you have breakfast, check out, then get on the bus to Bac Lieu to visit Tac Say Church – Gia Rai Bac Lieu, visit the tomb of Father Truong Buu Diep – a famous priest considered a saint who bestows grace and blessings on those who believe and pray, then continue to visit:
- Memorial area of the late musician Cao Van Lau – Honoring Southern amateur music, go to Hung Vuong Square to check in with established records: The largest Ba Non La Theater in Vietnam , the largest zither, the cultural symbol of Bac Lieu “Quan Tu Cam” .
- The group continued to Soc Trang to visit Chen Kieu Pagoda – the pagoda with the most beautiful architecture today and is also the place that still preserves some of the famous relics of the young master of Bac Lieu: the mother-of-pearl inlaid cabinet, the set of sofas and 02 unique winter and summer beds, bought by the pagoda in 1947 .
- The group continues to the intersection – Hau Giang – a famous place that has been mentioned in ancient poetry and is an endless inspiration in the song “Love of a Mat Seller” by composer Vien Chau. You will have lunch at the intersection of Hau Giang with specialties, then get on the bus to return to Ho Chi Minh City.
In the afternoon, you continue your journey back to Ho Chi Minh City. Stop to rest at Cai Be Tien Giang rest stop, then continue your journey.
