DAY 1: HO CHI MINH CITY – MY THO – BEN TRE – CAN THO (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)
7:00 AM Depart from Saigon to Tien Giang. Have breakfast at Binh Chanh Rest Stop, then continue the tour:
- Vinh Trang Pagoda – The ancient pagoda with the most unique architecture in the West.
- Then, arriving at My Tho wharf, you will board a cruise on the Tien River to explore the unique features of the West. The group will stop at Thoi Son Islet (Lan Islet) to enjoy free hot, fragrant honey tea , visit traditional craft villages: Honey bee farms and bee products such as royal jelly, pollen, etc. You will go to the garden house to rest, enjoy seasonal garden fruits, drink tea and listen to the unique Southern folk music performance.
- Travel by boat through Ben Tre – On the way, listen to the introduction about Con Phung – learn about the relic of Mr. Dao Dua – Nguyen Thanh Nam and his architectural works on the islet. Arriving at Que Dua Ben Tre, you will visit the coconut candy factory , rice paper factory, green rice factory, wine distillery… Here, you will see the production model and directly enjoy the products.
- You will experience riding a horse carriage or an old Lambro 550 on a familiar village road, recalling old memories… Then you will go to the pier to take a rowing boat on the most beautiful canal in Tan Phu, Ben Tre for 20 minutes under the beautiful shade of mangroves and water coconut trees, admiring the charming and authentic western river scenery with fruit gardens full of fruit such as durian, rambutan, mangosteen… Then continue to the ecological garden restaurant on the river bank.
Lunch: Enjoy lunch with specialties of the western region and relax at the Ben Tre eco-tourism garden area.
In the afternoon , at 3:00 p.m., you return to the ship to enjoy free Ben Tre coconut specialties . The ship docks, then you board the bus to continue to Can Tho .
18:00 Arrive in Can Tho, check in hotel.
Evening: The car takes you to Ninh Kieu wharf to board the Ninh Kieu cruise to have dinner with Western specialties, cruise on the Hau River to listen to Southern folk music… After the ship docks, you are free to return to the hotel to rest, or visit the night market, food street and Ninh Kieu walking street, check in at the love bridge…
DAY 2: CAN THO – SOC TRANG – CA MAU CAPE (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)
In the morning , at 6:00 am, you will go to Cai Rang floating market, which is the only floating market in the West that is crowded and most famous and still preserved – specializing in buying and selling goods on the river, especially vegetables, tubers, fruits and four-season fruits, visit the noodle making facility and dried specialties of the West. You will have breakfast, check out, then you will get on the car to Ca Mau. When the group arrives in Soc Trang, you will visit Som Rong pagoda – an ancient pagoda over 300 years old with the most beautiful architecture today. The car will take the group to Ca Mau for lunch. Then continue the journey to Ca Mau cape.
In the afternoon , you will check in at the Mui Ca Mau Biosphere Reserve – with a rich mangrove ecosystem where there are alluvial flats, cajuput forests, and immense mangrove forests that bravely fight against wind, rain, and waves day and night. Mui Ca Mau – the sacred land at the southern end of the country. Where you will be able to see the scenery and take souvenir photos at:
- National coordinate landmark – GPS 0001 , Ca Mau cape symbol panel – Image of a boat cutting through the waves to the sea , Ho Chi Minh road landmark at the end of Ca Mau, Ca Mau cape flagpole ,
- Museum of Ca Mau Cape, statue of Mother Au Co, Ca Mau Cape
- Mangrove ecosystem at Ca Mau Cape National Park – World Biosphere Reserve with rich flora and fauna at Ca Mau Cape.
Then the car will take you back to Ca Mau city for dinner, check in, and rest. In the evening, you are free to explore Ca Mau’s cuisine at night.
DAY 3: CA MAU – BAC LIEU – SAIGON (Breakfast, lunch)
Morning: Have breakfast, check out, then get on the bus to depart for Bac Lieu:
- Visit Cha Diep Church – Gia Rai Bac Lieu, visit the tomb of Father Truong Buu Diep – A famous priest considered a saint who bestows grace and blessings on those who believe and pray.
- The House of the Young Master of Bac Lieu was built in 1919, designed by a French engineer and all the construction materials were brought from France. After completion, it was considered the most majestic house in the six provinces of the South at that time. And above all, the legend of the golden life of Mr. Ba Huy (Tran Trinh Huy) – the man known as ” The Young Master of Bac Lieu ” that to this day can be said to be known to everyone, check in the Ba Non La Theater of Bac Lieu .
- The group continued to Nga Bay – Hau Giang – a famous place that has entered ancient poetry and is an endless inspiration in the song “Love of a Mat Seller” by composer Vien Chau.
Noon: You will have lunch at Hau Giang intersection with specialties, then get on the bus back to Ho Chi Minh City. On the way back, visit the Purple House film studio – the hottest check-in spot today (you have 45 minutes to freely visit and take photos. Entrance ticket to the purple house is at your own expense ).
In the afternoon , you continue your journey back to Ho Chi Minh City. Stop to rest at Cai Be Tien Giang rest stop, then continue your journey. 18:30 arrive in Ho Chi Minh City, ending the 3-day, 2-night Ca Mau tour . See you again in the following programs.
