Ho Chi Minh City tour
07:30-8:00 : Car and tour guide pick you up at the meeting point to depart for a tour of Ho Chi Minh city.
- You will visit the Independence Palace, also known as the Reunification Palace, also known as the Reunification Hall , one of the most important historical sites in Vietnam, located in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City. This was the residence and workplace of the Saigon government before 1975, and is also a symbol of the historic victory when the liberation army tanks entered on April 30, 1975 , marking the day the country was completely unified.
- Next, you will admire the beautiful architectural works from the French colonial period such as Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica of Saigon, one of the ancient architectural works and prominent symbols of Ho Chi Minh City. Built from 1877 to 1880 by the French, the church has a Romanesque and Gothic architectural style, with all the bricks imported from France.
⏳ Note : The church is currently under renovation, but visitors can still visit the outside and take photos in the square area.
- Located right next to Notre Dame Cathedral, the Central Post Office is one of the city’s most prominent architectural works. Built from 1886 to 1891 , the building was designed by architect Gustave Eiffel (designer of the Eiffel Tower). With a classic European architectural style , harmoniously combined with Asian features, large vaulted ceilings, glass windows and characteristic domes. Inside there are maps of old Saigon, old telephones, and many beautiful check-in corners.
12:00: Lunch at local restaurant.
- In the afternoon, continue exploring the West of the city. You will arrive at Cho Lon, a bustling and culturally rich area of the Chinese community in Ho Chi Minh City. Stretching from District 5 to District 6 , this place is not only a major trading center but also an attractive destination with ancient architecture, rich cuisine and a bustling atmosphere all day long.
- Thien Hau Pagoda is located in China Town, one of the oldest and most sacred temples of the Chinese community in Ho Chi Minh City. Built in the late 18th century, the pagoda is located in District 5 and is a place to worship Thien Hau , the goddess who protects fishermen and seafarers.
- Continue to Bach Dang Wharf . After checking the water ticket and settling down, the boat will start to depart. During the trip, you will have a unique view of the city’s most iconic commercial buildings including Vinhome Central Park urban area, the magnificent Landmark 81 tower, Bitexco Financial Tower, and the peaceful green District 2. Try to explore the soul of this land – Saigon River by water bus, maybe you will realize many wonders, a more accurate view of the land once known as the Paris of Indochina or the Pearl of the Far East.
18:00: Car takes you to Nha Rong Wharf, board the Cruise to experience and visit Ho Chi Minh City at night. Have dinner on the Cruise.
21:00: End of the trip, car and tour guide take you back to the starting point. Say goodbye and see you on the next trip.
